So I'm a little late on my weigh-in here. Last week wasn't the best week. It started out great and on Tuesday or Wednesday I hit 175 (10 lbs!), but then the next day I was somehow about 4 pounds heavier. I'm just chalking up to the joys of being female and trying not to worry about the scale too much. Although I have to admit, it's hard not to let the scale discourage me when it's wigging out for no apparent reason. Anyway, the last half of the week I guess I was just tired because I really had a hard time making myself exercise, and I may have eaten more than my fair share of the cookies and doughnuts that had the misfortune of ending up at my house. Oops.
But things are looking up a little this week. I got in a much better workout this morning and the exercise always makes the nutrition so much easier. I've been taking to heart your great suggestions, by the way. Last week I really did run laps around the playground while Forrest played. (Unfortunately, that workout was cut short by an unfortunate poop incident...I swear, it's like they plan these things...) And I bought the Biggest Loser Cardio Max dvd, which pretty much makes me want to die whenever I do it. I have the others waiting in my netflix queue. Hoping to get back to the gym next week when Clara's at day camp, as long as I can get Forrest in gym care before it fills up!
So, all in all, not the greatest week, but not the worst. Still optimistic.

Hooray! When exercise really is going well it does seem to be easier to make good nutrition choices. Catch 22 when the reverse is true. :/
